Fire resistance for yachts?

Steel does not burn. Many of the materials aboard Bering yachts, such as coated wood bulkheads, carpeting, draperies and cabinets, are fire resistant; either non-combustible or flame retardant. Fire-resistant insulating foam between the hull and living spaces resists combustion. Marine veneer panel bulkheads are flame retardant.

The total flammable mass on board is quite small, so it is much easier and faster to extinguish the fire should it break out contrary to expectations. Bering also ensures that each cabin and the engine room and engine rooms are equipped with temperature sensors and smoke detectors for.

Fire resistance can truly save lives on yachts.
