Conscious of the need for maximum reliability, safety and functionality, Bering uses robust commercial equipment and fittings on board its yachts. The plumbing and electrical systems feature pumps and engines of international manufacture, which operate continuously. We typically install Cummins or Caterpillar marine diesel engines due to their long track record of reliability and performance, as well as their unsurpassed international service networks.

In keeping with our belief in redundancy, Bering yachts are equipped with twice the lifeboat capacity of the specifications.

All Bering yachts are built to CE certified Category A seaworthiness standards, even if the vessel is not intended for sale in the European Union. Detailed stability calculations are performed for each Bering and included with every vessel. Bering can also build its motor yachts to meet most classification standards, this upon request and demand. Internationally recognized standards include those of the American Boat & Yacht Council, the American Bureau of Shipping and Lloyd's Register.
